Josiah Gladwell (aka K-LONE) is a British Producer and DJ, born in London and now based in Brighton. This track comes from K-LONE’s debut ‘Cape Cira’ the LP due out 24 April on Wisdom Teeth, the Bristol-based record label run by Facta and K-LONE. According to Bandcamp, ‘Cape Cira’ is “the result of a short creative burst during a grim British winter”, that “explores music as escapism, comprising a series of lush, warm vignettes that demonstrate music’s unique transportive power.”

Alma Negra are a music collective based in Basel, Switzerland and are made up of Miajica (aka Mario Robles), Dario Rohrbach & Dersu Figueria. Uwalmassa provides an alternative study on Javanese gamelan compositions, experimenting with known and unknown structures. The new 12″ ‘Bumi Uthiri’ EP collects together tracks ‘Untitled 01’ and ‘Untitled 02’ (both first released as digital-only in September 2016) plus three new compositions. All tracks recorded live using a single condenser mic and then assembled using digital signal processing and audio manipulation. The EP is part of a sonic exploration project initiated by DIVISI62 – a sound and visual arts label based in Jakarta, Indonesia which examines the Indonesian identity issue within a global context.
Moon Diagrams is the solo recording project of Deerhunter co-founder and drummer Moses John Archuleta. The track ‘Trappy Bats’ was largely recorded in a single night as a means to process the intense intersection of Archuleta’s social, political, and personal hysteria. The ‘Trappy Bats’ EP was released last August on the Sonic Cathedral label, and features this reworking by Detroit based producer Zachary Shigeto Saginaw (Shigeto).
Jean Guérin is a French explorative classical avant-garde and jazz drummer, and founder member of the heavy-acid jazzy collective Ergo Sum. Jean’s ‘Tacet’ album (from Latin for “to be quiet” or “non engaging”) is the result of his movie soundtrack work. ‘Tacet’ would be later reworked as the soundtrack of Claude Faraldo’s eccentric 1971 film “Bof… Anatomie d’un livreur”. The original ‘Tacet’ album was released on Futura Records.
Manos Tsangaris is a German composer, drummer and visual artist, born 1956 in Düsseldorf. And after 30 years, the Nonplace label re-released Tsangaris’ maxi single “Elephant’s Easy Moonwalk Through The Night”, together with a new B side, created especially for this purpose in 2017.
