Amrita “Ami” Kaur Dang is a South Asian-American vocalist, sitarist, composer and producer from Baltimore (Maryland). Her sound ranges from North Indian classical fused with noise/ambient electronics to beat-driven psych and experimental dancepop. Ami’s new, all-instrumental album Parted Plains is available to pre-order from Bandcamp, being released on Leaving Records.
